David Niven is best known for his great acting ability, but for anyone who has read one of his books, it's also apparent he has equal expertise as an author. Not only has he written two fiction novels, he has also written two of the best selling autobiographical books about his life and Hollywood.

It is hard to recommend any particular book because they are all very good, however my personal favourites are 'The Moon's a Balloon' where you get David's perspective of his life and 'The Other Side of the Moon' where you get Sheridan Morley's, an established biographical author.

However all of the books detailed below are an excellent and informative read and if you would like to learn more about David Niven they are a good place to start.
